PP/MP - Project and Millitary Points
Project Points
PP are very simple, as they constitute the general intellectual and industrial capacity of your nation, they can be used for projects and all types of construction and research. Because every project requires money to actually happen, spending 1 PP results in an expense of 1/2 MegaKerbit (500,000 kerbits)
One PP takes a RL hour to spend.
If you build a 100 PP project, you can do this several ways, it is not possible to split it into parts to do it faster, it must be done as a whole.
On low effort mode, it takes 50 PP but takes 200 hours.
On strong effort mode, it takes 200 PP but takes 50 hours.
This can be translated to all projects.
PP do not get spent, they are merely ''occupied'', doing a 100PP project with a 100PP nation sets you to 100/100 until that project is done, then it reverts to 0/100. This, however, does not apply to the money, which has been spent and is therefore irrecoverable.
MP Points
These define the military upkeep capacity of your nation, only finished GM units occupy these, and do so constantly, which in turn limits your army size. Losing your GM units free up MP points, you can then translate 2 PP into 1 MP when rebuilding the units.
The amount of MP points you have is dependent on what sort of nation you start out to be. If you choose to be Militaristic, you will get 120 MP points, but you will receive a 20% penalty in PP construction. This means that if you went out to build a 100 PP project, you would need 120 PP to get it done.
If you choose to be Industrious, you will receive 80 MP points, but also a 20% bonus in PP construction. This means that a 100 PP project would only require 80 PP.
If you choose to be Balanced, you will receive 100 MP points, but no PP bonus.
If you choose to be a Corporate State, you will receive just 75 MP points, but also massive 25% bonus in PP construction. This means that a 100 PP project would only require 75 PP.
If you choose to be a Militant State, you will receive 125 MP points, but you will see a 25% penalty in PP construction. This means that a 100 PP project would require 125 PP.
